EFresh / ICENY is a takeout restaurant on Yelp. ICENY is the ice cream menu and EFresh is the healthy salad and wrap menu. They have two names and two menus, but they're the same restaurant.
There's no seating at the moment. Just takeout and delivery.
I got a wrap and a smoothie. Both were reasonably good. They gave me a buy ten smoothies get one free card. I've never made it past 5/10 on these types of cards before other restaurants cancelled those promotions, but let's hope this place is different.
There's a 3.5% fee for credit cards.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - May 21, 2019
My fiancé and I stopped in here last Friday night for rolled iced cream. It's nice to have this type of ice cream in the area however the space is so small and the wait was pretty ridiculous. They do have only one counter to make the rolled ice cream so there is no way to speed things up.
There was only one person ahead of us ordering a few items and we almost left while waiting. Can't imagine how long the wait will be on a hot summer day when this will definitely be a popular option.
There are many flavor options and combinations and of course at the end we did enjoy the ice cream.
They also have a menu for some food items including wraps.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jayson C.New York, NY12663181884Jun 2, 2020
Ok I understand that with the pandemic that there's a stressful aspect to take out food. But I do not understand how if you order something that it gets delivered to you you with the quality we received tonight.
We ordered two açaí bowls and he ordered a warm salad. My açaí bowl was to have strawberries, blueberries, cookie batter, cacao nibs, and a few other things. They packed everything into a tiny container so when you opened it the toppings came off stuck to the lid. It did have some of the items, but that is what it was mostly: the items. Very sparse amount of açaí, which is why I wanted the order in the first place. Very dissatisfied with this.
I'm not even going to begin about his salad that he is mortified about. Just absolutely disgusted by. I would definitely avoid the warm salad.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 10645114445Jun 12, 2020
I should've known better than to order from a place where, when we walked in (before COVID) and asked about their acai bowls, the person behind the counter had no idea what that was or anything about them, even though it was promoted big and large on the sign in the store.
And really, I don't know what I was thinking ordering a salad bowl from a place that specializes in ices, or why I thought it would be right.
Needless to say, nothing was made correctly. The acai bowls, besides being wrong, were more like acai dixie cups. And I don't know what that "bowl" was but it wasn't what I ordered and looked like something from Qdoba or Chipolte.
I would give two stars, but in a time when everyone is struggling, I'm generously giving three.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 3, 2018
Came here today since Snowdays wasn't open and the weather called for something cold for dessert. My friend and I missed their happy hour where you apparently buy one and get the other half off so we paid $7 for a small cup of Thai ice cream rolls. For $7 you choose a base, something to mix in, two toppings, and a drizzle. Sounds like a lot, but they really skimp on ingredients here. I got the sweet cream base with Oreos mixed in, Mochi and fruit loops as toppings, and condensed milk as my drizzle.
The rolls turned out much smaller than other places where I've paid the same amount but received much larger portions. The ice cream wasn't mixed well enough and really didn't taste like anything but sugar. Overall, really disappointed since I was excited to have a Thai cream roll place in forest hills.
Oh and there's a $10 minimum for card.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sadman B.Flushing, NY1073041048Jun 4, 2021
2nd time and can't get enough!! You get to choose your base and toppings and it's so perfect. They also have pre-made choices that you can choose from. Ice cream is made on the spot all the time. If you want something that's pre selected, you can switch out toppings. Ice cream comes out to seven dollars and change. Come here!! Check them out. Great service.

We came at a non-peak time. I would come back, but not when there's a long line. I mean it's good, but not that good. If you get my drift.
They have a 20%off coupon for those that post on instagram or fb and tag the place. Pretty great way to advertise.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Briana H.Newark, DE160338Sep 11, 2021
The hours are wrong online and they leave their grubhub and seamless on when they are closed. Ordered an açaí bowl, walked all the way to the restaurant and it was closed. Had to contact grubhub support to get a refund. To anyone ordering, make sure they are actually open first.

My first go at the ice cream rolls originating from Thailand, that are now ubiquitous. I CE NY started in Thailand and expanded to NYC in 2015. Their standard offering is: base ice cream + mix-in ingredient + two toppings + sauce. The flavored base milk batter is poured onto a large round steel plate and immediately scraped and mashed with mix-in ingredients, solidifying on the freezing cold plate within a couple of minutes, then cut and rolled up into their classic form.
There are plenty of options for base, mix-in, toppings, and sauce, inviting creativity in mixing and matching. The less creative or overwhelmed can simply choose from some suggested combinations, which include familiar choices like pina colada, banana pudding, S'mores, strawberry cheesecake, as well as Asian combinations such as mango sticky rice, Thai iced tea, and boba milk tea with grass jelly.
I CE NY's ice cream rolls simply don't do it for me. The ice cream is very sweet, the black tea base flavor tastes artificial, and it melts absurdly fast, possibly made without emulsifiers. The mix-in red beans were largely absent in taste or texture. The grass jelly topping is probably canned, flavorless and dense. The sprinkle of fresh strawberries was the unexpected highlight, tossed in when the friendly counter person insisted I take a second topping, although I did (thankfully) forego a sauce.
These made-to-order desserts take time and with only one person making ice cream a lot of the time, it may take 10 - 30 minutes or more to get an order, depending on whether there's a line. This a take-out place, with only about 10 stools lining the corridor between counter and entryway. Should supplies run low, they have to vacate half those seats to access the basement.
I CE NY is not for me. I am particular about ingredient quality and theirs clock under mediocre, and I don't prefer very sweet desserts. The premise and variety is fun, though, so there's a market for their products.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Elizabeth D.Port Jefferson, NY288347601Nov 10, 2018
I love coming here because I find all of their flavors delicious! My absolute favorite is the strawberry cheesecake rolls, but close second is the matcha Oreo and the cookies and cream flavor! it's gotten a lot pricer since I remember (an additional $3 for a small scoop of cookie dough topping!) but if you get a standard combo, you'll probably shell out $7.
One of my BIGGEST pet peeves with this place is that you'll probably spend $7 if you're getting one of the pre-made combinations, which is kinda pricy but it's okay since it tastes good, BUT THE CREDIT MINIMUM IS $10. That irks me so much.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
