The place to be in the Inner Sunset.

Right next to the long carb fiend-ing line outside Arizmendis, Beanery is where you'll find the Inner Sunset locals.

There are babies, young parents, hippies, professionals, grandmothers, grandfathers, - and everybody in between sipping on their beanery brew, watching the Inner Sunset come alive - each day.

The interior is dark, but warm - and smells like fresh made coffee. Early in the morning, if you can grab a seat - sit tight.

Though I've yet to try the coffee here, I love popping in for an iced chai - on the weekend. An always perfect propellant for a walk to the park.

I stopped by here while walking around Inner Sunset for a cup of coffee. I got a Caramel Latte with a single shot, and it came out pretty quickly.

There were a few small tables, and quite a few people were doing work on a holiday. The latte itself was really good--nicely balanced and not too sweet, not too bitter. The single shot (which I split with my boyfriend) was perfect for an afternoon coffee for someone who is sensitive to caffeine like me.

I would come here again for a nice, no-frills cup of coffee and/or for a nice place to work!

I was on a run and stumbled upon this little coffee shop recommended by a local and it did not disappoint.

- 2 espresso shots: the bean was definitely darker than I usually consume but it was yummy, strong

Looks and tastes just like milk. I'm not sure if they added espresso to my iced caramel latte, maybe just syrup. Tastes watered down. Never again.

Tried the Vietnamese coffee- probably the best viet coffee in SF considering price, taste, and effectiveness. For reference though I like my coffee medium sweet

My go-to is always the iced vietnamese coffee - very strong but also very sweet. I love the flavor and it is a great afternoon pick me up whenever I need to get some work done! I honestly don't notice any difference between the flavor from here and the location on 7th avenue so I just go to whichever is more convenient (even though they are only 2 blocks away from each other). This location does have significantly more seating though (+ free wifi!), so I would recommend it for anyone who wants to get some work done or just hang out and read in a classic coffee shop vibe. They don't have outlets though so plan accordingly. Also I noticed that most people keep to themselves and it is a fairly quiet environment (wouldn't necessarily recommend it if you plan on talking loudly or have extended meetings), but it makes for a great place to work independently in a nice neighborhood coffee shop!

Beanery is my go-to after I've left the park and need a caffeine fix. It is an old-school SF type coffee shop; very little frills. However, the staff is always friendly and quick with their service.

I drink tea (not coffee), so I usually get either some black tea or chai. They do have a few different non-dairy milks, including oat, but unfortunately upcharge for it (like most places.)

Some things I would like to see:
-Matcha latte's
-Vegan pastries

If they added one (or both!) of the above, I would spend a lot more time and money here. Still, I will keep coming back to avoid the nearby chain store and get my pick me up.

An honest and genuine local coffee shop that's been in the neighborhood for a few decades. They roast their own beans and all coffee orders are made fresh. You can taste the quality and prices are reasonable also. I do wish they offered better options for tea. They use to sell loose leaf teas but switched to tea bags, maybe not enough tea drinkers? Offering a giant cup of hot water for one tea bag only gives a watered down tea, which isn't that enjoyable so I just get a coffee when I'm here.

Quaint little cafe! I love their house coffee. If you get one of the house blends, you can literally custom make your own latte because they have different hot coffees on tap for you to choose from in addition to sweeteners and creamer. This is perfect for someone who usually has a custom coffee order and prays that they dont mess up hehe.
They have decent indoor and outdoor seating. Ideal for sitting here for hours to read, work, etc. Or just hangout with a friend.

If you're in the area and are in need of a good coffee then this is the spot.

I love coming to the Beanery for coffee or to study! This place is a local coffee shop on Irving and does everything just right. This location has more seating than the one on 7th, so I like to frequent this place! It definitely can be crowded so don't be surprised if you come in the afternoon to find no seats available. Unfortunately, there is a lack of plugs, but they do have wifi!

I usually order the Caramel or Vanilla Lattes ($5.15 for medium). The coffee flavor is distinct and not too bitter or strong. Personally, I like a little bit milder coffee flavor. The sweetness is also perfect its not over done and doesn't leave an artificial taste in your mouth.

Overall, it's such a lovely spot to grab coffee with a friend or study for a few hours on a sunny weekend.
