Boardwalk is a LEED Platinum mixed-use building showcasing how thoughtful design enhances the built environment and social fabric of a neighborhood. The building features 171 apartments above a premier community-owned food market, offering an upscale urban lifestyle to residents while adding safe, active, and engaging spaces to the community.

The design team embraced the site's curved trapezoid shape and setback restrictions optimizing views and space utilization for residents while reducing the building's visual mass. This sensitive design approach benefited adjacent properties while fully utilizing the increased allowed density on a site primarily zoned for commercial use, highlighting the design's success.

Use of high-quality materials and attention to detail elevate the aesthetic of the neighborhood. The southwest corner boasts an inviting public plaza with a large wood deck seating area. The west facade features low scale and deep setbacks that extend the city's Park Promenade experience, while Equitone panels and dynamic bay projections on the north side add visual interest. The south facade features brownstone-style porches with lush landscaping.

Located on a prime corner, the project aligns with city's "ten-minute neighborhood" and pays tribute to its lakeside location appealing to people who are focused on personal and environmental health and wellbeing.
