Meetings have been scheduled for you to vote on the tentative agreement for a new contract.
Please make every attempt to attend one of these important ratification meetings.

UFCW Locals in Southern California have reached a tentative agreement with Foods Co. and Foods 4 Less. For months, we have been fighting for a fair contract and have shown what can happen when workers stand together for a better life.
After months of intense bargaining, we have secured a tentative agreement, delivering our members the wages, hours, and protections they deserve. A tentative agreement is not final until members have an opportunity to review and vote on it.
This agreement was only possible with the strength shown during the bargaining process. We stood up to the company’s unfair labor practices and were willing to fight for the contract our members deserve.
Our solidarity and victory here sends a message to workers everywhere – when we stand together, we win.
Details of the agreement will be released to members working at Foods Co. during ratification meetings. Please make every effort to attend the ratification meeting. Your Union recommends a YES vote.
Members will have an opportunity to review and ask questions before voting during these meetings. Members will be notified of the meeting locations, dates, and times in the coming days.

Sur de Calif. Negociaciones Acuerdo provisional sobre Foods Co. / Food 4 Less
Los sindicatos locales de la UFCW en el sur de California han llegado a un acuerdo provisional con Foods Co. y Foods 4 Less. Durante meses, hemos estado luchando por un contrato justo y hemos demostrado lo que puede suceder cuando los trabajadores se unen por una vida mejor.
Después de meses de intensas negociaciones, hemos logrado un acuerdo provisional, ofreciendo a nuestros miembros los salarios, horas y protecciones que se merecen. Un acuerdo provisional no es definitivo hasta que los afiliados tienen la oportunidad de revisarlo y votarlo.
Este acuerdo sólo ha sido posible gracias a la fuerza demostrada durante el proceso de negociación. Nos enfrentamos a las prácticas laborales desleales de la empresa y estuvimos dispuestos a luchar por el contrato que merecen nuestros afiliados.
Nuestra solidaridad y nuestra victoria envían un mensaje a los trabajadores de todo el mundo: cuando nos mantenemos unidos, ganamos.
Los detalles del acuerdo se darán a conocer a los miembros que trabajan en Foods Co. durante las reuniones de ratificación. Por favor, haga todo lo posible para asistir a la reunión de ratificación. Su sindicato recomienda votar SÍ.
