Since the series of shows began in 2019, Sony has used the State of Play presentations to reveal big-hitting games and details such as The Last of Us 2 release date, debut gameplay footage for Ghost of Tsushima, and more. What can we expect from the next Sony State of Play?
Sony State of Play events have become quite hard to predict over the years. Generally, they focus on PS5 and VR, with third party announcements making up the bulk of the show. At times, larger games have been announced via these events, but mostly, these are reserved for PlayStation Showcase events. Similarly, major hardware announcements are unlikely to appear at State of Play, but you might see smaller accessories like new headsets and devices like PlayStation Portal.
