Though Ms Sharon-Lynn started the business primarily as a nail parlour, she has expanded the line of services that My Nail Place offers to include threading, waxing, foot spa, eyelash extension, eye brow shaping, as well as make up for all occasions. Ms Sharon-Lynn is an artist at heart and is constantly intrigued by new designs and artistic trends. From young, she was involved in various artistic occupations ranging from painting on canvas, sketching, computer graphics, 3D art setups, and many more. Setting up a nail parlour has always been her dream; one that she finally achieved with little or no prior business experience. She did not take any professional courses, but picked up the skills of a manicurist on her own by watching other nail technicians do her nails; the same applies to waxing, threading, eyelash extensions, and the many other services My Nail Place offers. Using her own innovative, artistic inclinations, her quick eye when it comes to picking up new skills, coupled with determination and a "never-say-die" attitute towards life, she has become proficient in her skills and continually delivers artistic creativity in her work, to her customers' delight.

Nevertheless, through word of mouth, My Nail Place quickly gain popularity in the neighborhood, and even started seeing customers who come down from various parts of Singapore to have themselves pampered.
