Women who underwent Pap test in Italy 2009-2021, by age group
Between 2009 and 2021, the share of women who underwent a Pap test in Italy fluctuated. This statistic breaks down this share by age group of the women. In general, Pap test were more common among women aged 45 to 64 years, compared to younger ones. In 2021, the number of women who underwent a Pap test reached 37.3 percent overall.
