The Dream Hybrid and Dream Max each have a medium feel, and are likely to provide a good balance of pressure relief and support for side sleepers who weigh up to 230 pounds. Sleepers over 230 pounds tend to prefer firmer mattresses with more support. When sleeping on their sides on these mattresses, individuals in this weight group could experience more pressure buildup and sinkage, particularly around their hips.
Because the hips and shoulders tend to be the widest parts of the body, side sleepers frequently experience pressure points around these body parts. The soft, multilayer comfort systems of these mattresses spread out body weight more evenly to relieve pressure points. Casper Dream Hybrid Mattress Review Breakdown
The Casper Dream Hybrid is a hybrid model made up of two foam layers over foam-encased pocketed coils. A knit cover gives the mattress a soft, breathable surface.
The comfort system is constructed with a top layer of open-cell polyfoam that allows cooling airflow while cushioning the sleeper. The next layer is made of memory foam divided into different firmness zones to provide targeted midsection support. In the support core, pocketed coils encased in dense foam reinforce the sleep surface while adding more bounce and breathability.
The Dream Max builds on this design with the same components, plus an extra 2 inches of memory foam that act as the bed’s transitional layer. Airflow channels increase circulation to help the mattress stay cool.
Both mattresses rate as a 5 on the 10-point firmness scale, which translates to a medium feel. This is on the soft end of the average range for hybrid models. The Dream Hybrid measures 12 inches thick, and the Dream Max measures 14 inches thick.

In addition to selling mattresses within the United States and Canada, Casper also sells mattresses to Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
Dream Hybrid and Dream Max mattresses ordered through Casper ship for free in the contiguous United States. Same day delivery may be available in some parts of New York and Los Angeles. Additional fees may apply for orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Northern Canada, and European destinations.
Mattresses usually ship within one to two business days once an order is placed.
For a $199 fee, Casper provides in-home setup for the Dream Hybrid and Dream Max. This service includes transporting the mattress to the appropriate room, unboxing the mattress, and removing your old mattress. Removed mattresses must be sanitary to be eligible.
These mattresses come with Casper’s 100-night sleep trial. Within this timeframe, customers are eligible to return their mattress for a full refund of the purchase price. They can do so by contacting Casper’s customer service team, which will arrange for the mattress to be removed.
