Loved it from King Crimson at the beginning. Well done.
Psychedelic revenge story that's a bit too long in the tooth that devastes the mind of Cage's lumberjack character after witnessing the horrific death of his lover by way of a cult. Visually stunning many a time with a subdued big bad with a thimball ego in tow who has a drug fueled demonic biker gang at his beck and call. One of Cage's more memorable films that doesn't involve fist fighting Chucky Cheese and friends.

Still one of the best violent revenge movies to come out, since. You’d have to go backwards to find better. You damn sure won’t find any like this now, because all Hollywood is interested in is making glorified afterschool specials.
