"I call this my \"DORMER STYLE\" lending library or neighborhood book exchange. This is a cedar Neighborhood Book Exchange for sharing your books with neighbors and friends. It is made with 1x8 Western Red Cedar and Asphalt 3-tab shingles for the roof. It has a door with Plexiglas window. I seal all the inside joints with clear silicone to ensure a weather tight seal. There are two shelves - one for adult and one for children books, a bell in the tower, and a solar panel that operates a light at night.
