This is a guitar stand sculpture from wood, in this case elm. We curve the legs using a traditional steam-bending process, and push it about as far as the wood and we can stand. We sculpt the hand that holds the guitar neck from a laminated block of wood using a bandsaw, various grindy tools, and obsessive patience.
