Messier 57, aka the Ring Nebula, the radiant outer layers expelled by a star several times more massive than our Sun about 2,000 light-years away in Lyra. It's about 1 light-year across. This is a composite of Hubble WFC3 data captured in September 2011 (PI Charles O'Dell).
