This book cover shows excellent figure ground/negative space. The contours formed by the position of the fox serve as the shape of a boy, I'm assuming "Peter." This empty space also creates a wonderful focal point for the book title to nestle into. This film poster for Tyler Perry's "The Family that Preys" is a great example of a reversible figure/ground example. The figure (the profile of the face) first appears to be the focal poin; however, the white negative space around it also makes the prescense of a hand visible (and it's placed in the center of the compostion, then maing our mind see that as the main focal point.) It's hard to decifer if the figure or the ground have the most visual weight.
