Osi model

Learn about the OSI model and how it works in computer networks. Explore the different layers and their functions to gain a deeper understanding of network communication.
The Open Systems Interconnection or OSI Model is a conceptual framework for describing the functions of a networking system. In order to facilitate interoperability between various devices and applications, the OSI model describes computing functions into a universal set of rules and standards. The connections among computing systems are divided into seven abstraction layers in the OSI reference model: Ace An Interview, Osi Layer, Top Interview Questions, Osi Model, Cloud Security, Ethical Hacking, Conceptual Framework, Proxy Server, Interview Questions And Answers

The Open Systems Interconnection model (OSI model) defines a concept where every function of a computing system resides at one of its seven levels. When people say, “Layer 3 routing” or “L7 load balancing” they are referring to the OSI Model. It is an incredibly handy tool for troubleshooting as it reminds you to check the system at each layer. The official documentation on the OSI Model can be found on the ISO site (yes, that’s confusing).
