Chin tucks activate the deep neck flexor muscles that are located in the front of our necks. Their function is to hold the head in place above the neck, and they have a huge important role in maintaining and supporting the neck and its natural curve.

Looking down without a chin tuck ends up with the muscles in the back of the neck permanently contracted, and can lead to that Dowager hump at the base of the neck. Not to mention, headaches.

Start incorporating the chin tuck into your crafting sessions to better support your head, and ensure that those muscles stay healthy and strong!

Lift your head and shoulders off the floor by 1-2 centimeters, engaging the muscles at the front of your neck.
