This classroom service project was designed for 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance. Firefighters work several days in a row without going home and share their meals in the Firehouse. Youth create placemats for Firefighters to use to remind them each day how thankful we are for the service they provide. This is a great project for students of any age. Younger grades can color their placemats while upper grades can assist in covering with clear contact paper to laminate the placemats. 2nd Grade Service Projects, Elementary Community Service Projects, 4th Grade Games, First Responders Day, Homeschooling Elementary, Service Learning Projects, Outreach Ideas, Service Projects For Kids, Volunteer Activities
