Hands-On Art History and Team Building Activity
There are two options so you can choose what works best for your students – making it great for any age. Both options are easy. Each student is given one page of the artwork to color. Once all sheets are colored and cut out, they are then assembled to reveal a large mural of The Great Wave off Kanagawa. Poster #1 - The colors have been assigned. Students will follow the colors assigned. Poster #2 - The colors have NOT been assigned. Let your students color the poster whatever colors they want.

Fun Pop Art Landscape Lesson
Pop art landscapes are fun for kids to paint because they are full of colors and patterns and encourage children to use their imaginations! In this post, I’m going to share with you how my students and I created our Pop Art landscapes inspired by the beautiful Sonoran desert in Arizona. First, your students will paint the foreground. Next, have your students paint the middleground by painting the mountains. Finally, students will paint the background.
