Seattle Reviews
Rating 4.16 out of 5 1,125 reviews
Many activities for people of all ages. There is usually some kind of event going on every weekend, especially during the summer. Traffic is usually pretty hectic, so if you are able to avoiding driving you will be thankful for it. The city is pretty pedestrian and bike friendly, and there are even electric scooters and bikes you can rent to go on your own little adventure! Lots of diverse food options but it can get pretty expensive if you eat out regularly, particularly of you order door dash or uber eats frequently. It gets absolutely beautiful in the spring and summertime -- nothing beats the summer in Seattle. If you aren't already the "outdoorsy" type, you might just find yourself becoming an avid outdoorsman if you spend enough time in the Seattle area. There are plenty of hiking trails, parks, and water activities for those brave enough to give them a try! During the winter time, take a trip up to the mountains for some snowboarding or skiing.
My experience with Seattle has been incredibly enriching and vibrant. The city's natural beauty, with its stunning views of the Puget Sound and the surrounding mountains, provides a breathtaking backdrop for everyday life. Seattle’s diverse neighborhoods, rich cultural scene, and thriving tech industry create a dynamic atmosphere full of opportunities. I enjoyed exploring the iconic Pike Place Market, discovering unique coffee shops, and attending various music and arts festivals. The friendly and progressive community made me feel welcome and engaged. Overall, Seattle’s blend of nature, culture, and innovation has left a lasting impression on me.
Seattle tends to be a city of introverts, but there are so many opportunities to get out of your bubble to meet people with shared interests. Whether its a drawing/sketching meetup at a local brewery, a workout dance class or hiking club, our a community choir, there are so many opportunities to express yourself if you are willing to brave the drizzle of rain. While we are known for being a rainy city, the clouds often parts to let in the warmest sunshine which provides a beautiful culture of love for the outdoors. Public transit is the way to go here, so you will be always be able to get around. And each neighborhood has its own culture and hub of activity, which means you can really find a place to feel like you belong!
