Portland Reviews

Portland is an amazing city, it's vibrant, hip, and fun with countless things to do! The only downside to Portland, is that it faces a significant homelessness challenge, one that's impossible to ignore as tents line streets and parks. As a current resident, and someone who plans to live in Portland their whole life, I would love to see Portland be cleaned up. On the other hand, I like to inform people that while in Portland, you'll never get bored. Wandering through neighborhoods and streets downtown, you will likely encounter quirky shops, art galleries, and street performers, reflecting on Portland's creative and progressive spirit. I'm proud to say I had the opportunity to grow up here!
Living in Portland, Oregon, is a great experience. The city is full of life, and the blend of urban culture and nature makes it worthwhile. You get the city life while also getting the natural beauty too. I love exploring various neighborhoods, each with its own character and charm. I find the food scene really great, as there are many food trucks which serve excellent food, as well as many local restaurants and family owned locations. The local coffee shops in my area are perfect for a chill afternoon and getting work done at. However, I do wish there were more sunny days, as the rain in Oregon can be a bit much sometimes, but that’s just Oregon for you. Overall, Portland is a fantastic place to call home.
Portland is the perfect example on how leaning too much to the left can be destructive to any community. Drug use (which has been completely legalized), homelessness and crime are rampant throughout the city. Infected needles, trash and tents everywhere.
Needless to say, even without these problems, people are cold, rude and entitled. Making friends in this place is nearly impossible. And to tell you the truth, I am glad I have been turned down on my friendly approaches to people. After given it much thought, I would vomit if I was considered to be a friend of anyone living here. Very white, entitled, racist, boring, attention-seeking false liberals waving a progressive flag for show.
