New York City Reviews
Rating 4.26 out of 5 1,868 reviews
Having moved to New York City, I've been exploring a lot and going out a lot. There is a lot to do, and if I'm out I never get bored. However, the city itself isn't that safe. I've seen fights and blood in the streets, which often scares me as a woman who takes public transport alone. One night, I hit up Times Square, and wow, it was a sensory overload. The neon lights, the street performers—it felt electric! I even found a food truck serving amazing tacos on 53rd Street. And of course, I had to catch a Broadway show. I snagged tickets for "Hamilton", and it was totally worth every penny. NYC is a crazy, beautiful mix of everything, and every corner has a story to tell!
Exploring New York City is always an adventure! Last summer, I decided to hit up Central Park, and honestly, it felt like stepping into a movie scene. I grabbed a bagel from a street vendor (shoutout to Ess-a-Bagel) and just soaked in the vibes.

As the song by Alicia Keys and Jay-Z goes, "concrete jungle where dreams are made of, there's nothing you can't do." My dream has just begun as I step into the vibrant world of Parsons School of Design in New York City. The thrill of being admitted fills me with excitement as I prepare to settle into this iconic city.
Walking through the bustling streets, I am mesmerized by the diverse tapestry of people, each with their own story. The aroma of food from countless cultures fills the air, tempting me at every corner. From savory street tacos to delicate pastries, New York's culinary scene is a feast for the senses.
Every event I attend, from art exhibitions to fashion shows, pulses with creativity and innovation. The energy here is electric, and I can feel it fueling my passion for design. Parsons, renowned for its cutting-edge education, promises to be everything I've anticipated and more.
This city, with its endless possibilities, feels like home already.

New York is a really cool place to live, with new restaurants popping up, new activities always emerging, and access to so many outer areas. The night scene is really fun, you can end up in a nice penthouse apartment with a beautiful view of the city, or in a club that stays open to 4 am.
The only caveat is that the subways are not always the safest at night, depending on the areas you go to, of course just like everywhere. They are sometimes packed, which makes it frustrating to go anywhere, especially during peak times. It is nice they go just about everywhere and are very much easy to get to, but are not always the preferred form of transportation.
