I have lived in Charlotte my whole life. It is full of so many different things. There are tons of great restaurants and lots of places to shop. There are so many fun activities to do indoor and outdoor and is family friendly. Charlotte is home to people of all ages and backgrounds and has been a great home for me! Charlotte used to be open land when I was younger but now as it has popularized there are houses, apartments and buildings everywhere. It is definitely grown allowing for more people to move here. I am glad that other people get to call Charlotte home and I am not saying I wish people would stop moving here, but I wish that not every piece of open land would end up turning into an apartment complex or a new shopping center. Overall, Charlotte is a great city that I am glad I live in!

I have been living in Charlotte, North Carolina since birth. Growing up was very memorable and exciting, going to places such as the discovery place, imaginon, JA BizTown, Carowinds and more! all of this was left in the 2010's. Ever since COVID hit there have been many changes ever since, such as police, rent and houses sky rocketing to outrageous prices. I have also noticed in some area's of Charlotte minorities are being "forced" to move out of Charlotte due to the prices being high and considering jobs can be limited to others. Charlotte is growing into another Atlanta/ Los Vegas with a lot of new restaurants and bars; there's not a lot of opportunities for children anymore to really explore what used to be in Charlotte and create memories. Overall I wouldn't recommend Charlotte to anyone who is under 25, considering the fact that its transitioning into a place for the millennial generation
