Barnes’ music has been featured in numerous magazines and web sites. Barnes was awarded the 2008 Phoenix Music Award Independent National Artist of the year, was a performer and recipient of the 2008 Hollywood F.A.M.E. Award for Music & Cinema, the Los Angeles Music Awards 2009 Soloist of the Year Award and the 2010 & 2011 Composer of the Year. Numerous other awards include Outstanding Musician for the Instrumental/Soundtrack category for the 7th & 8th Annual OutMusic Awards and Best Easy Listening Male Artist for the 1st Annual Indie Music Channel Awards.
