I've just returned from a 1600km motorcycle ride up the south east coast of Australia to visit some friends who live along the coast south of Sydney. It is one of my favourite places in the world to visit, stay, travel through and spend time.
While it was a long way and not without it's difficulties, including pouring torrential rain, slippery roads, potholes, wind, sunshine, a flat tire and a couple of cold nights in my tent, I loved and appreciated every single moment of it.
It allowed me to breath, think, live, love, laugh, walk along beaches with my friends deep in thought and conversation, to sit in a small boat on a lake while my friend fished and we caught up over beers in a glorious location, it allowed me to walk through forests, across and over sand dunes, to kayak in lakes and lay in the sand, to eat amazing meals and reminisce with some of my oldest friends and appreciate the live I have.
This session reflects that trip and helps soothe my soul.
