Love Island fans have insisted Samantha Kenny shouldn't have been the Islander dumped from the villa.
Emotional scenes played out on Tuesday night as Samantha was forced to pack her bags following the latest recoupling. She had pinned all her hopes on Joey Essex, before his former flame Grace Jackson rocked up on the ITV2 dating show. Joey and Grace shared a cheeky snog and even went to the hideaway, while the former Only Way Is Essex star continued to lead Samantha on.
At the recoupling, bombshell Grace was able to pick her match and settled on Joey. It meant Samantha was left single and had to hope another boy would choose her. She was left right at the end with Jess White, with Omar Nyame making the final decision. Omar decided to choose Jess, leaving Samantha all on her own.
Samantha was then brutally told she had been dumped from the show and was forced to pack her bags. Viewers took to X, where they declared the wrong decision was made. One said: "It should’ve been Jess idc #loveisland." Another added: "I hope it’s Jess leaving #loveisland." Someone else commented: "Now why would he save Jess ffs?! #LoveIsland." A fourth wrote: "Omar should’ve sent Jess home actually .. idiot #loveIsland."

A confused fan asked: "why did he pick jess im so confused lol. #loveisland," as another declared: "Omar??! You had one job omg #loveisland." While someone else said: "that was BRUTAL. i wasn’t the biggest Samantha fan but she defo didn’t deserve that wow #LoveIsland." A viewer wrote: "Samantha was robbed of her revenge story #loveisland."
As one viewer warned: "jess ur next #LoveIsland." Nicole had to read the news of Samantha's dumping out aloud and broke down in tears, as all of the girls sobbed. Joey kept his head down with Grace also initially staying where she was before she too broke down in tears.

Grace tried to talk to her as she packed her backs but Samantha said: "No offence but I don't wanna hear it." Joey then tried to speak with her, but Samantha shut him down. She said: "Save it mate, save it. Leave me with the girls. I don't wanna hear it, it's a load of s**t." She then headed out of the villa, without saying goodbye to Joey or Grace or clearing the air.
Joey had not even ended things with Samantha before getting cosy with Grace, while also suggesting he and Sam were just friends. When Sam poured her heart out to Joey about why she was so upset, Joey accused her of pushing him away and didn't seem to think he'd done anything wrong. He repeatedly snogged Grace, even in front of Sam as well as paying a visit to the Hideaway.
