Sophie Khan Levy has warned some huge twists are ahead on EastEnders.

The actress - who plays Priya Nandra-Hart on the BBC soap - has teased there is some big drama ahead with the Panesars, as Nugget finds himself in hospital next week. The family rally around Nugget as he collapses - with Priya immediately feeling guilty about not being there. Viewers will know Nugget has been away from his mum for a long time, instead living with Ravi and the Panesars.

Now Sophie - who plays Priya - has teased even more chaos is ahead for the family. Explaining about how Priya feels about it all, Sophie revealed what's to come - and warned there is a big fall out ahead.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror on the green carpet at the TRIC Awards, she said: "Priya had absolutely no idea that any of this was coming and I think given her history as a mum who was absent in his life, it's probably very difficult to see her having been absent in this storyline not knowing anything. She's devastated and I think we see the fall out of this in the weeks to come."

Priya arrived last September with her daughter Avani in tow, with Ravi having no idea about them having a second child.

Speaking about their arrival, Executive Producer Chris Clenshaw teased at the time: "We’re excited to introduce Priya and Avani, two women guaranteed to cause big drama in Albert Square. Little is known about Ravi and Priya’s doomed romance, but she’s a big missing piece in his past. The revelation that he’s got another child will floor Ravi, and he is set to face a big challenge in his life when he is forced to cope with such a big shock to the system. We’re delighted to welcome Sophie and Aaliyah to the EastEnders family."

Sophie added: "I’m super excited to be joining the show, and I can’t wait to see what trouble Priya gets herself into! I watched EastEnders when I was growing up, so to see so many familiar faces and to walk onto the set is a dream come true."
