Sara Martins, who starred in the first series of Death In Paradise, has been confirmed for a hot new Amazon Prime Video programme.

The French actress, 46, became widely known for her on-screen work after she starred in the popular BBC One comedy drama as DS Camille Bordey. She certainly proved to be a fan-favourite and left fans devastated over her shock exit after following her fourth series.

There were mixed emotions about her departure back in 2015. At the time, Sara believed she needed to take a few more "risks" to have a flourishing career.

Speaking to What's On TV about her reasons for leaving, she said: "I've loved everything about the show.
