Odell Beckham Jr. has had his first team meeting since becoming a free agent, which could prompt the Kansas City Chiefs to take action.

The 31-year-old wide receiver met with the Miami Dolphins on Thursday, according to CBS. His salary cap charge for 2024 is just under £3 million.

Last season, Beckham Jr. didn't perform too well with the Baltimore Ravens, making only 35 catches for 565 yards and scoring three touchdowns. Despite his preferred team being the current Super Bowl champions, Kansas City, Beckham Jr. met with the Miami Dolphins.

If he moves to sunny Florida, he would join other star players like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. However, his first formal meeting could prompt any other interested parties to take action.

Upon leaving Baltimore, Beckham Jr. shared a heartfelt message on Instagram : "Swear on everything I appreciate the Flock more than y'all could EVER imagine," he wrote.

"Did everything I could with the opportunities I had. Wish I got to do it big for y'all. Thank you for the Vibez! To the City of Baltimore, I f*** with y'all forever FRRRR. And most importantly to my brothers over there this s*** a lifetime sentence, I love y'all! BiggestTruzzz."

Away from the field, it seems Beckham Jr. might be getting close with Kim Kardashian. The two first captured attention when they were seen together last year but things may have stepped up a notch, with Kardashian spotted getting hands-on with the superstar at Jay-Z and Beyonce's Oscars afterparty.

Reports suggest that Kardashian was acting quite playfully with Beckham Jr., even putting her hands on his face at one point without realising cameras were catching the moment.

Beckham Jr. could be considering an offer from Miami, but the Daily Mail US recently reported he wanted to join the Kansas City Chiefs. That would see him united with Travis Kelce and potentially cause an awkward reunion between Kardashian and Taylor Swift.

Sports commentator Mike Florio believes the Pittsburgh Steelers could potentially be Beckham Jr. 's final destination. The Steelers have already signed two new quarterbacks, Russell Wilson and Justin Fields.

Florio shared his thoughts on 93.7 The Fan Wednesday, saying: "He's available. He's not gonna get the $15 million he got last year, and he still had moments last year in Baltimore. Players always love him and he wasn't whining about his playing time or his production last year.

"I think as free agency gets deeper and deeper into March and into April, some of these veteran guys are gonna be cheaper to get. Couple that with a draft pick or two, and I think you have what you need."
