A 'real life Rapunzel' who has never cut her hair has locks which are 64 inches long.
Lawyer Alla Perkova, 37, from Odessa, Ukraine, gained more than 30,000 followers on Instagram as a result of her incredibly long hair, which she says she has never cut.
Her hair has attracted admiration from across the world and she has worked with Victoria's Secret and US actor and musician Jared Leto.
Due to her unique look, she has been dubbed the 'real life Rapunzel' by her followers and as Alla stands at just 5ft 3in tall, her impressive hair reaches 5ft 4in meaning that her hair is now longer than her entire body.
Alla was inspired by her mother, Maria's waist-length hair, as she considers her to be incredibly beautiful.
As she has been growing her hair for such a long time, she has now become accustomed to the length - but still maintains her locks by washing her tresses every two days.
She prides herself off her all-natural hair, as she doesn't use any hair growth products and has even gained the attention of some A-list celebrities.
Candice Swanepoel and Jared Leto, are two of the celebrities who have become fans.
She met Jared Leto on her honeymoon, and he was in awe of her amazing hair, while model Candice Swanepoel shared a photo of Alla's hair on her own Instagram account.
Alla enjoys the response she receives from fans online. While she occasionally receives negative feedback, she says that the only downside to her locks is that she can now step on the ends of her hair
Her family are very supportive of her hair journey her mum is proud to have helped her maintain her hair length throughout her life. Alla's husband, Edward, also loves her long hair he even helps to comb it.
Alla wishes to continue modelling, as although she's currently practicing law, she hopes that her long locks will help her to achieve her long-standing goal of becoming a full-time model.
"I never thought that this hair length was possible," Alla said.
"Since childhood, I've always loved hair if it is healthy. My mum always had hair down to her waist I just wanted the same.
"My mother is the ideal of femininity and beauty for me. I wanted to be like her in character and appearance.
"But I didn't think that my hair could grow to the floor and be longer than me.
"It's easy for me to deal with this current length, because the hair grew gradually.
"I wash my hair once every two days and I only use regular shampoo for normal hair.
"I don't like to apply balms or masks - I use them, but not often. I don't cut the ends of my hair, because I don't like it when it is straight and I don't want the hair to look like a wig.
"Several famous people have admired my hair, including Candice Swanepoel who shared my photo on her account, and Jared Leto who said that he knows that long hair isn't easy to deal with.
"I met him on the Montserrat mountains in Spain, as I was there with my husband on our honeymoon and it just so happens that Jared was climbing there too.
"My husband, Eduard, and I, have been married for ten years. We're extremely happy together and he sometimes helps me to comb my hair. "He says he has never seen a girl with such long hair he thinks I'm special."
Despite her famous admirers and loving husband, Alla still receives criticism for her unconventional appearance.
"Some people say that I should cut my hair to a normal length ` but nobody knows what that is," said Alla.
"Who is there to say what a 'normal' length of hair is anyway, as there isn't one. I've learned that some people don't like it if you look different to them.
"I like my unusual appearance. I am grateful to the Lord, my mother, and my genetics for this.
"But I always say that hair length is not the main thing, it's health that is important."
