A woman was left red-faced after her plan to surprise her husband with some saucy underwear went horribly wrong.
Maggie said that since she never dresses up in fancy lingerie, she wanted to catch her partner's reaction on camera.
But she wasn't prepared for what was about to happen.
Sharing the embarrassing blunder on TikTok, where she's known as @theblondebrewer, she said: "I didn't expect that reaction!"
In the video that has been viewed more than 55,000 times, she said: "I have this super cute lingerie and I thought it would be fun to put it on, wait for my husband to get home and get his reaction!"
"I haven't worn lingerie in years," she explained.
The camera that had been set up in the living room sees Maggie drop her dressing down, which hid her lingerie, as she waits out of view.
A second later, the door slams announcing the arrival of who she thinks is her husband - but it's actually his dad.
Stunned by the unexpected view, her father-in-law shouts "Oh s***! Oh s***" as he stumbles backward and runs back in the direction he came in.
Horrified Maggie shouts out: "I didn't know you were going to be home!"
Since being posted, the video has been liked more than 8,000 times and has received more than 300 comments from viewers who felt her embarrassment.
One person said: "I mean at least you weren't [naked]."
Another commented: "Lmao omg I would have been so embarrassed."
"At least he seemed a good sport about it," said a third.
Whilst someone else put: "This is undoubtedly my WORSE FEAR OF ALL TIME."
