One lucky Brit could become richer than Adele as an estimated £180M EuroMillions jackpot could be won this week.
On Tuesday, lottery players have the chance to take home the eye-watering prize which will see them rolling alongside "the most iconic names in music." If one ticket holder takes home the "enormous" amount, they will become wealthier than pop star Harry Styles, worth around £175M, according to The Sunday Times Rich List.
The potential winner could also give singing sensation Adele a run for her money, as she is said to have a net worth of an estimated £170M. The ‘Rolling in the Deep’ singer started from humble beginnings as she grew up in a small flat in Tottenham before moving to South London - and then on to Los Angeles in the US.
Adele described it as the "best house I've ever lived in." She previously said: "In fact, this house always gets spoken about in the press as if it was like really run down and stuff because it was above what became a discount store, and all of our little roof terraces were all linked."
While Adele built her fortune over her 16-year career, the lucky punter could bag themselves £10 million more, in just one night. A single winner would immediately become The National Lottery’s third biggest UK winner of all time, just £4 million short of the second biggest UK winners Joe and Jess Thwaite who won £184million in May 2022.
