Professor Stephen Hawking's most famous work is A Brief History of Time, explaining the likes of the Big Bang and black holes for non-scientists. The physicist, who battled motor neurone disease since the age of 21, used a wheelchair and a voice synthesizer to communicate. The physicist died peacefully at his home on 14 March 2018.
