Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter, North West, has bagged a role in The Lion King alongside Jennifer Hudson.

The 10 year old is preparing to release her debut album, Elementary School Dropout, and is making strides towards a successful music career. Now, it seems she's hit the big time. She's set to join a star-studded cast for Disney's The Lion King 30th Anniversary A Live-to-Film Concert Event. Held over two nights, the outdoor performance brings together stars of the original film, the 2019 remake and all over Broadway.

North has already set her sights on a career in music (

Organisers announced North's involvement on Wednesday in a press release. She will act alongside Tony-award winner Heather Headley, GRAMMY-winning Lebo M, Academy-Award winner Jennifer Hudson, Billy Eichner, Bradley Gibson and Ernie Sabella, among others, reports the Mirror US.

It's still unclear what role North will play in the production, but she'll take to the stage on May 24 and 25. The special event will also be broadcast on Disney Plus in The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl, with a TV premiere scheduled for a later date.

"Fans will experience life in the Pride Lands as a full orchestra performs Hans Zimmer's rousing Oscar-winning musical score led by conductor Sarah Hicks," a press release announced, teasing an "immersive live performances of the beloved songs".

The cast is set to "perform select numbers for the first time at the Hollywood Bowl, featuring the Broadway show's award-winning and artistically acclaimed costumes, set design and innovative puppetry," detailed the announcement, made on Wednesday.

Disney Plus also announced the news on its social media. Fans are excited for what is to come. One person wrote: "YAY! This is so cool, I can’t wait!!" Another wrote: "Now this is [three fire emojis] can not wait to experience this!!!"

This follows the buzz that North could be raking in up to $30,000 per TikTok post as she embarks on her journey into social media stardom with a little nudge from her mum. Social media analysis platforms estimate the ten year old's earnings per post to range from nearly $15,000 to over $45,000 as she engages with her followers through posts that include filters, dance moves, and fun times with mum Kim and the Kardashian-Jenner family.
