Rosie O'Donnell and her estranged daughter Chelsea appear to have patched things up.

Almost a year after a very public falling-out, the pair reunited at an event in New York last night.

Smiling broadly as they cuddled in close for a picture, any trouble appeared to be long gone for the TV host and her 18-year-old child.

They posed together at the Second Annual Fran Drescher Cancer Schmancer Sunset Cabaret Cruise.

The smiling pair were joined at the event by Rosie's other adopted daughter Vivienne, who also beamed sweetly for the cameras.

"Chelsea vivi me at frannies #cancerschmancer event last night," Rosie wrote on Instagram.

Chelsea was reported missing in August last year, prompting prompted Rosie to make a public appeal about her whereabouts where she said Chelsea was "in need of medical attention" as she suffered from a mental illness.

Chelsea was eventually found at the home of a man she met on Tinder, two weeks before her 18th birthday.

The teen later said she found Rosie's public appeal "really hurtful", telling Mail Online: "People think I'm this crazy person and as I've said, I have depression and bad anxiety - but it's been something that's gotten a lot better.

"I wouldn't say I'm mentally ill - I would say lots of people struggle with what I have."

She later returned to the home of her birth mother.

Chelsea is Rosie's daughter with ex Kelli Carpenter, and they have three other children together. She also shares two-year-old daughter Dakota with estranged wife Michelle Rounds.
