Oscar winner Anne Hathaway has unveiled the name of her baby son.

The Les Miserables star, 37, confirmed the name of her son and also spoke about being pregnant while on the set of the latest adaptation of Roald Dahl's classic story The Witches.

Speaking on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Anne divulged some details about her beloved baby boy, Jack.

Anne revealed: "Now I have a beautiful almost-11-month-old boy, but I was pregnant when I made The Witches, so technically he's all over that performance."

However, filming while pregnant meant that costume designer Joanna Johnston had to work around Anne's growing belly.

The actress recalled: "She goes, 'I really want you to have a really tight waist.' And I had just found out I was pregnant and I was like, 'Mmm, no. No, I don't think so. No'.

"And she was like, 'Well, why?' And I was like, 'Eh, you know, I just know myself.' I'm scrambling for a reason. I just know myself and I know that I won't be as free'.

"'I won't be as free if I'm constrained around my middle, so we just better make everything very loose.'"

Well, thankfully, it all paid off as you would not know a thing from watching the film!

Anne also revealed what it has been like living at home with her two sons and husband Adam Schulman.

On eldest boy Jonathan, four, dealing with new arrival Jack, Anne said: "No coping, just love. Now Jack's big enough to wrestle with and that's brought a new element to their relationship that's really cute."

Meanwhile, despite the elaborate costumes, director Robert Zemeckis' take on The Witches has received mixed reviews from critics.

Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes shows that only 51 per cent of reviews deemed the film to be 'Fresh', meaning it is rated as 'Rotten'.

The audience reviews for the film have not been better, coming in at 44 per cent fresh reviews.

However, despite the mediocre reception to the film, Anne's turn as The Grand High Witch has been praised.

The critical consensus on the website reads: " The Witches misses a few spells, but Anne Hathaway's game performance might be enough to bewitch fans of this Roald Dahl tale."

The Witches is available now on digital and video-on-demand.
