I am a Principal Researcher at Microsoft AI.
My research interests include: large-scale pretraining, efficient architecture, object detection and video understanding.
Before joining Microsoft, I finish my PhD at University of Maryland – College Park under the advising of Prof. Larry Davis. My research interests started with texture/fine-grained classification and settled down with human action understanding. Before that, I had my master at NYU and studied shortly in Prof. Yann Lecun’s lab doing robots staff.
