About
Jiahao Li is currently a senior researcher at Media Computing Group, Microsoft Research Asia. Before that, he received B.S. degree in computer science and technology from the Harbin Institute of Technology, in 2014, and Ph.D. degree in computer application technology from Peking University, in 2019. His research interests include neural video codec and other video tasks, including video backbone design and video representation learning. He has contributed several key technologies to international codec standards, like Versatile Video Coding/H.266 and AOM AV1. He also contributes technique transfer to Microsoft real-time communication product Teams.
