Prime Day is here, and luckily for you, we're on top of our game finding the best deals, including price drops on the latest iPads from Apple.

These discounts might not seem like much, less than $100 off each model, but these are the lowest prices ever on most of these iPads. The spring release of the new iPad Air and iPad Pro brought noteworthy tech, creating tablets with as much power as the best laptops we've tested. So while these deals seem subtle, we can confirm they're the best prices on iPads right now.

Note: We'll be updating this article with the latest prices throughout the main event. All newly added deals are marked with a ✨, while deals with a 🔥 have dropped to an all-time low price. Amazon's exclusive invite-only deals are marked with a 📨.

Best iPad deal

Why we like it

Among the tablets we've tested, the iPad 9th generation is the best for most people. This 2021 model isn't the newest tech, especially with the release of the new iPad Air and iPad Pro, however, it's a great value. It has all the essentials you want in an iPad as the A13 lets you stream, read, and work. When not on sale, it comes in at $329, about $20 cheaper than the iPad 10th generation, but the savings are even bigger during Prime Day. Now, you can get the iPad 9th generation for $249, saving you $80 for 24% off.

Best iPad Air deal

Apple iPad Air, 11-inch (M2, WiFi, 1TB) 🔥
$1,024.00 at Amazon
$1,099.00 Save $75.00

Why we like it

Loaded with the M2 chip, the iPad Air is a tablet with the power of a laptop. It's our best overall iPad, as it goes beyond just entertainment — it can be a professional workspace too. The M2 chip powers creatives who want to illustrate and with 1TB of storage, you won't run out of space when starting new projects. This iPad Air usually starts at $1,099, but it's currently down to $1,024, knocking $75 off the price. Those 7% savings bring it down to its lowest price, unbeatable for the amount of power and storage you're getting.

Best iPad Pro deal

Why we like it

Read our full review of the M4 iPad Pro.

The iPad Pro is not only the most advanced tablet we've ever seen, but maybe the most advanced computing power period. It's also the only way to take Apple's new M4 Chip for a spin. So, if you need an iPad for professional use, something that can accomplish all your work and stand in for a laptop, then look no further than the new iPad Pro. This Apple tablet scored a 14,586 on the Geekbench 6 test, which is better performance than both the M3 MacBook Air and M3 MacBook Pro. Frankly, that's bananas.

During Prime Day 2024, you can get the latest iPad Pro for $899, saving you $100. (Look for an on-page coupon that drops an extra $20 off the price.) We don't expect this deal to last much longer, so this is your chance to get the most powerful iPad ever — and at the lowest price we've ever seen.

Best iPad Mini deal

Why we like it

In some ways, the iPad Mini is Apple's answer to an e-reader. That's oversimplifying it for sure, as the Mini can do everything you expect from an iPad — browse the internet, stream shows, play games — but it does so in a compact package, giving it a better hand feel for reading.

During Prime Day, the iPad Mini is down to $379.99, giving you $119.01. That saves you 24% — plenty of savings you can reallocate to your summer book budget.
