This position is located in the Facility Services Division, Integrated Support Services Directorate, Chief Operating Officer. The Supervisory General Engineer serves as the Chief of the Facility Services Division working under the direction of the Director of Integrated Support Services (ISS) Directorate, Library of Congress, Office of the Chief Operating Officer. Incumbent is responsible for the overall direction of major construction(s) or major renovation project(s) within the confines of all Library of Congress facilities or other area(s) as assigned under the direction of the ISS Director.  The incumbent works closely with the Architect of the Capitol, Space Utilization Planning & Design Office (SUPD), Facility Operations, Safety Services Chief, service contract coordinators and contractors, as well as officials with other government agencies.
