Meet Sonya Callahan. For more than 20 years, Sonya taught second and third grade – and brings a passion for sharing knowledge to Lennar every day as a team leader and mentor. While teaching, Sonya obtained her real estate license and then began at Ryland Homes as a New Home Consultant. After a stint at a property management and brokerage firm, Sonya returned to Ryland Homes, which became a part of Lennar through a series of mergers. She quickly embraced change and became a mentor to her peers through the transition. Every day, Sonya lives her dream of helping Homeowners find their dream homes in their dream communities. Sonya loves that Lennar provides Associates with the tools to be successful. She believes Lennar thoughtfully plans communities, amenities, and homes to make it easy for New Home Consultants to showcase what Lennar offers. Additionally, Sonya loves Lennar’s dedication to giving back. Every holiday season, the Division donates gifts to the Waccamaw Youth Center in Conway, South Carolina. They deliver gifts, play games, and spend time with the kids at the youth center. Sonya believes these Focused Acts of Caring are important to Lennar’s culture. Sonya’s welcoming personality and genuine calling to serve helps Homeowners navigate the many steps in purchasing a new home. Her positive attitude radiates through the Division, and she works hard to exceed goals while focusing on giving every Homeowner a Tickled, Delighted, and Happy experience. We appreciate you, Sonya! Fun Fact – Sonya has four children, six grandchildren, and one more grandchild on the way. She is close with her family, and they enjoy boating, hanging by the pool, and riding their bikes together.
