New standards? Not a problem! In an effort to continue to grow 21st-Century skills in the classroom, the New York State Education Department has created new computer science standards for the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
Catholic Central School, NY, discovered the perfect coding solution that fits the needs of their Pre-K to Grade 12 students. Photon Education Official’s user-friendly interface and its ability to be implemented into any subject, makes coding skills accessible for every student. Grade 7 Student, Haley Clark shares her perspective of the solution from her classroom experiences, “[In our lessons using Photon,] you are learning technology, which is such a big part of our world, and we all have to adapt and learn it.”
This school began using Photon during the 2022-2023 school year. Once September rolls around, they will have implemented the new standards effectively and provided their students with countless opportunities to enhance their coding and robotics skills.
