📊💷The London Stock Exchange (LSE), a longstanding symbol of Britain's economic strength, has faced significant challenges in recent years.
Despite reclaiming the title of Europe’s most valuable stock market in 2023 with a total value of $3.18 trillion, the LSE saw its lowest IPO activity since 2009, raising only $1 billion. High-profile companies like Arm Holdings have opted to list abroad, particularly in the US, where markets like the S&P All-Share index have far outpaced the FTSE All-Share index.
This trend raises concerns about the UK’s competitiveness in attracting innovative and tech-focused listings.
