New website, new product, what’s next for ANS?

It’s been quite a month for us as we turned 20, RAPID was launched across the regions and our new website is now live www.ans.co.uk  Following months of prep, hard work and engineering we’re delighted to launch our new website to the world. The website boasts a one stop information hub, where visitors can review all of our products, solutions, services in an easy to digest format complete with downloadable data sheets for accessible information at the touch of a button. Built with our customer case studies in mind our website makes feature of what makes ANS unique, our customers.

Our third and final RAPID Launch event from ANS took place yesterday at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester. It was fantastic to see over 60 technology leaders from in and around the North West gathered to hear inspiring presentations from the world of IT as far flung as Santa Barbara, California. Andy Barrow CTO at ANS got things off to a fantastic start as he discussed how John Deere launched a new global suite of advanced solutions under the name John Deere FarmSight. FarmSight integrates wireless technology into arable and livestock farms, the contractor’s business and the John Deere dealership to a much deeper level than ever before. John Deere advanced solutions and services were launched to provide a service to customers that their rivals could not.

It’s no longer about the technology but innovation above and beyond that. Service innovation and application development is happening within every industry and organisation who do not look to develop may have to prepare to fail.

Andy wasn’t alone in this idea. Tracey Scotter, Director of ICT at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals discussed how within the Trust they not only utilise technology to drive innovation but to add real business value back into the NHS. Kevin McGribben CEO at LogicMonitor (a technology partner of ANS) described how the company he founded, are now the poster child for automation. As a company with only 135 team members; infrastructure within LM is completely automated. Humans can no longer compete with machines in this area. The overwhelming message from the day is that there’s no such thing as a traditional business anymore, every business is becoming a digital business. The race to digitisation has now begun.
