Looking Back

I entered my fifties cannot believe it, half of those years I have spent in seed industry. Now that I look back it amazes me how things have  changed, I have seen transactions being entered into manually  stock ledger , where every day data operations were noted ,those were the days where everything was done manually ,it would take forever to make an MIS statement, from that stage of functioning today we stand here where in a simple technical device like a mobile and an i pad , we could process the data , its a phenomenal change .

These changes in technology makes me believe that there is so much that we have got to unravel, , everyday something new pops up which intrigues you  ,  so much more to learn it being my  field of my expertise it pushes me further to learn.

In my 24 years of this journey (12 years in Business & 12 years in IT) I have been associated with four companies, I have worked with different people, each one having mind of their own , at a given circumstance only a few agree with you, challenging ones are the people who are critical about it,  what do you do when people don’t agree with you? Question your idea again reevaluate ,try convincing them with an improvisation, at last their yes is all  that matters. 

Now that I look at the implementation of an system and how it works the role played by the management is crucial .the management after implementation of ERP , it needs to stress upon the follow up of the functioning

Senior management can lodge into data, anytime online; it paves a way to proper structural layout. Decisions can be made fastly, output can also be trusted , for any IT implementation to be successful  the users have to be explained the proper idea and trained in the field , if done so it is very possible to see the optimum utilization of the It technology

I have seen the happiness in the people, who opted it, I am very certain that they are very satisfied with their choice. Any new system introduced in the field certainly faces resistance, but the extent of resistance is to be dealt wisely, and requires fine tuning

I have a dream, that IT implementation in the seed industry should be end to end, by opting All field operations through Mobile, All Material Movements through Barcode and both should integrate with ERP for better online MIS.

I look forward more enthusiastically towards fulfilling and achieving this.
