A Look Ahead to 2024

In the wake of last summer's SCOTUS decision on Affirmative Action, the news has been dominated by corporations navigating complex decisions on DE&I. Amidst these changes and the ramping up of another election season, I constantly remind myself that no matter the climate, NPower and Command Shift share a consistent goal – transforming lives for the better. As we progress through the first month of the year, I am increasingly energized by the ongoing efforts of NPower and the Command Shift coalition. With the announcement of our Path2Tech classes and the expansion of NPower alumni nationwide – over 530 women graduated last year alone – I look forward to the triumphs in the coming year that will shape and positively impact countless lives.

Path2TECH  - Applications Open Now!

I am delighted to announce the launch of Path2Tech, NPower's data-driven tech training course for women. This course is designed to help individuals from under-resourced communities transfer skills from other industries to adapt to the in-demand tech field. Path2Tech offers a comprehensive 20-week Full Stack Developer program across Atlanta, Dallas, New York City, and the Washington D.C. area. The curriculum encompasses Front-End and Back-End Web Development, Application Fundamentals, Quality Assurance, and Software Development using Python and Java.
