3 Millennial Skills I Want to Put on my Resume

  1. My fish has been alive for over a year. Talk about commitment, dedication, and care! My betta bad boy was in such terrible shape when I got him I had to bring him home and give him a bath before I knew his true colors. Literally. He’s blue and red. Not to overdo things, his name is “fish.”
  2. I can finish a whole pizza in a sitting. Okay… Okay… I know this sounds like I’m bragging but I really can. It has to be a healthy pizza (potentially organic) but I can do it. Why is this resume-worthy you may ask? Well, ordering a pizza for one shows you’re courageous, determined, and efficient. In a more serious note, ordering a pizza alone teaches you how to be alone. A vital skill for all millennials.
  3. I’m a budget queen. I’m not the typical millennial when it comes to money. I’m on Mint, budgeting websites, 401k websites, and even asked a friend’s accountant parents about tax returns. Not all millennials care about budgeting and money until they start a family but I care now and I’m a bit obsessed. I know where every penny goes and can tell you how much I’ve spent on makeup, cookies, and yogurt in fall 2016.

What are your millennial skills you want to add to your resume?
