If an email starts out with anything resembling the fact that they hope that I am well, I delete and move on. I already know that it is a canned sales email and my interest wanes. It is amazing how many I receive each day.
Who still uses these phrases?
i mostly would say i hope you are dong well, but i recently came across a write-up that said it is important not to sound too generic and stiff by using such a phrase, but better try more specific phrasing to emphasize the sincerity of your wishes, like” i hope you are having a productive week” overall i think sending good emails is an important skill.
