In case you missed it ➡ Zayo is taking significant steps to close the digital divide, striving to establish digital equity across America. This monumental task has been an incredible collective effort that we are so proud to be a part of. Here are a few highlights from this week: 🛣️ Broke Ground For the First NTIA-Funded Middle Mile Route: Connecting California, Oregon, and Nevada, this 622-mile route will enhance regional development and provide a backbone for economic growth and digital services in areas previously constrained by inadequate connectivity. 🤝 Hosted a Reno Groundbreaking Reception: Government officials, local ISPs, and community institutions came together to connect on this movement. Thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event. 💬 Engaged in an Enlightening Discussion: Andrés Irlando, Sarah Bleau, Garry Gomes, and Brian Mitchell explored the challenges of expanding high-speed Internet access to underserved communities and the crucial role of private-public partnerships. 📶 Announced Nevada Middle Mile Network Expansion: Backed by funding from the NTIA and OSIT, Zayo will build over 800 miles of network, providing robust broadband access to unserved and underserved communities. We are committed to sustaining this momentum, working together to build a connected and inclusive future. Learn more about our digital equity mission: https://zayo.is/45HhU0Q
