The Role of White Space ⬜ Harnessing the Power of White Space in Design ⬜ White space, also known as negative space, is a fundamental element of design that can greatly enhance the visual appeal and functionality of your work. Apple use this approach so very effectively. Even down to how they present their phones in store. On a white desk, in vast space. The empty space helps signify the importance of the product on display. You wouldn't think it, but this space can be very important in your presentations. Here’s why, and how you can use it effectively: Reduces Clutter: White space helps to declutter your design by giving elements room to breathe. This improves readability and focuses attention on the key components. Highlights Important Elements: Strategic use of white space can draw attention to specific elements, such as calls to action or important information, making them stand out more. Creates a Clean and Professional Look: A design with well-balanced white space appears more elegant and sophisticated. It conveys a sense of quality and professionalism. Learning to use white space effectively can transform your designs from busy and overwhelming to clean and impactful. Embrace the simplicity and elegance that white space brings to your creations! #DesignPrinciples #GraphicDesign #WhiteSpace #Daedalus #DaedaluDesign

Accessibility issues come with different screen sizes and solving them can be very slow so it's better to simply avoid them from the onset. Check for small details on big screens to see if they don't get lost and can still be seen. Check for big details on small screens to see if they don't take too much space and still keep the ratio balanced. #accessibility #details #design

🗞 Electronic News! 🗞 Digital watches with displays consisting of numbers only have lost much of their popularity over the last few years. They are now outnumbered by traditional dials with hour and minute hands actuated by a digitally controlled stepper motor. These watches are the best of both worlds because they have an analogue readout with digital control. The LED clock described in this article is based on the same principle, only there are no moving parts at all. One of the key advantages of LED clocks is their sleek and modern design. With no physical hands or ticking mechanisms, these clocks offer a minimalist aesthetic that fits well in contemporary spaces. The LED display provides a clear and easy-to-read time indication, making it a practical choice for both home and office settings. #electricalengineering #electronics #embedded #embeddedsystems #electrical #computerchips Follow us on LinkedIn to get daily news: HardwareBee - Electronic News and Vendor Directory

In 1666, Sir Isaac Newton raised a triangular glass prism, intercepted a beam of sunlight and proved that white light is composed of all the visible colours of the spectrum. This event initiated a fascination with the qualities of colour. Colour is a universal language; it stimulates the emotions, shapes cultures and forms the backdrop of our business world. Quite simply, colour can influence mood, create atmosphere and lift spirits dramatically in a workplace. Colour has never been more accessible. Whereas once we were limited by cost and the unavailability of pigments and dyes, now colour is everywhere: in vivid tones, vibrant highlights and on an array of surfaces. The use of warm colours significantly influences the mood of your employees. Warm tones – such as beige or golden brown – will give your office a comfortable and mellow feel, thus encouraging friendly interaction in the workplace. If your workplace is all about serious business, a bright colour scheme can act as a motivator; such as introducing splashes of bright orange or purple. Cooler tones – such as blue and pale greys – can encourage a more relaxed yet efficient atmosphere. For example, pale blue or seafoam green would be calm and unobtrusive in meeting rooms where delicate resolutions are the focus. Want to introduce more colour into your workplace?
