I am beyond excited to start the next chapter of my career as a Technical Program Manager at #Netflix! Retail Media and Connected TV (CTV) are the two fastest growing segments in digital advertising. Having spent the last few years building some of the world's largest Retail Media programs, I am now looking forward to building what is destined to be THE largest CTV advertising program on the planet. Apricity - a new word I learned today that means "the warmth of the sun in winter". And if you are seeing this post from me on LinkedIn, you probably already know what a winter it has been for people working in the tech industry.   Over the last two days in particular, seeing all the LinkedIn posts from my Microsoft coworkers and friends, my own emotions have oscillated between fear (of accidentally refreshing the page and missing someone's post), shock (at seeing another friend's name), sorrow (of not knowing how many times I could send the same message of support), anger (at the injustice of it all and my own helplessness), and guilt (of being one of the "survivors"). It sucks and it is hard, as if the last three years had not been hard enough for all of us.   I understand the futility of writing a post like this and how little it actually does in changing someone's life for the better. And I acknowledge it was written as much to restore the peace in my own mind as it is to repair the peace that may no longer be in yours. But whether this post becomes just noise in the sea of emotions, or whether it even reaches you, for those of you who were impacted, I am truly thinking of each and every one of you, of your family, of the life responsibilities that remain on your shoulders, of the loved ones that you still need to take care of. I only hope that the knowledge of another heart aching for you could somehow bring a bit of apricity to you - the tiniest bit of warmth of the sun in this long and dreadful winter.

I am so excited to start my new position as a Team Manager at Microsoft, leading a group of incredible Technical Account Managers to build Retail Media programs at the world's largest retailers. I couldn't have asked for a better team to begin my management career with, and I look forward to continuing to learn and grow with all the bright talent around me!
