Changing careers at Hexaview I have spoken enough about the amazing set of people at Hexaview who drive the company to excellence through their commitment and passion. As a significant step to retain and reward our awesome team, we have a ‘Changing careers’ policy. We provide flexibility to our team members to switch roles provided they are able to clear a basic level screening. There are several team members who have capitalized on this opportunity so far- Nandini Bhatt and Faisal Ahmad being our shining examples of the same. Nandini Bhatt was originally hired for an HR role. Shortly after covid wave 1 struck & hiring was subdued as the top priority was to focus on the well-being of the existing team and business. She was given an opportunity to switch roles so that she has something worthwhile to do with her time. Nandini picked marketing. Originally, the switch was a short term with an understanding to bring her back to HR once the business gathers momentum. However, in her short period with marketing, Nandini quickly rose to be an ACE player on the team. The story doesn’t end here! During marketing calls, Nandini chose to work closely with the tech delivery teams so as to finetune her pitch. Little did she realize then that delivery will turn out to be her real joy. Since then, she has successfully migrated to a delivery role (project manager) & continues to shine there. There are two stars in this story- Nandini of course and also her manager Nalin Tyagi for showing confidence in her potential. Another equally captivating example is Faisal Ahmed. Faisal joined Hexaview a decade back as an implementation resource for one of the key projects. As a part of the implementation, one of his responsibilities was to keep close track of cost vis a vis budget. This turned out to be Faisal’s true calling. He moved to Operations and Finance team in 2019 & contributed in various capacities there. He leveraged his experience and interest to ultimately lead the accounts function. In his current role, Faisal manages all things related to accounts and finance for Hexaview. There is a running joke in Hexaview that if a Housekeeping guy can clear the developer’s screening, he will begin the next day as Developer with us.
